Privacy policy
Version: 12 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
For this website and for customer accounts (bar owners), one idea gmbh, Bertiswilerstrasse 2, 6023 Rothenburg, Switzerland, is responsible ("we"). Questions about privacy: dave@oneidea.ch.
For the data a bar enters into its GogoPlaner till about its staff, the bar is responsible. We process that data only on the bar's behalf (section 5 and the Data processing agreement).
2. Visiting this website
- Hosting: Cloudflare delivers this website. To deliver it and to protect it against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, date and time, the page requested and your browser type.
- Visitor statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across websites. We only see totals, for example how many visits a page had.
- No cookies, no advertising trackers, no social media plugins. Fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google.
- Your language choice (English or Thai) is stored only in your browser and is never sent to us.
3. Live demo
The live demo runs in your browser. What you enter stays in your browser's storage and is not sent to us, apart from the technical data in section 2. The demo contains only invented example data.
4. Customers (bar owners)
When you subscribe, we process the name of the bar, your name, your email address, billing data and the status of your subscription. We use this data to provide GogoPlaner, to send you sign-in links, invoices and important service messages, and to meet our legal duty to keep business records (10 years under Swiss law).
Payments are handled by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe also processes data under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).
5. Data in the till (on behalf of the bar)
A bar uses GogoPlaner to record, for example: nicknames and numbers of ladies, names and roles of staff, the confirmation that a lady's age was checked (no copies of ID cards), check-in, check-out and break times, drinks sold, commissions, barfines, payouts, cash counts, stock, schedules and expenses. Personal codes are stored only as a one-way hash — nobody can read them, not even we.
The bar decides what it records and is responsible towards its staff, for example for informing them. We process this data only on the bar's instructions and only to run GogoPlaner. We never sell it and never use it for advertising. A lady sees only her own figures on her phone, never those of others. Guests are not recorded by name; bills only have numbers.
6. Where the data is stored and who receives it
- Supabase — database and server functions, data stored in Zurich, Switzerland.
- Cloudflare — delivery of the website and the app, protection against attacks.
- Stripe — payments.
- Resend — sending emails such as sign-in links and the nightly summary.
Some of these companies are based in the USA. Where data leaves Switzerland, the EU or Thailand, we rely on recognised safeguards, such as the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
- Till data: as long as the subscription runs. After it ends, the bar can export its data for 30 days. After 90 days we delete it, unless the law requires longer storage.
- Customer and billing data: 10 years (Swiss duty to keep business records).
- Technical server logs: only briefly, for operation and security.
8. Security
Encrypted connections (HTTPS) everywhere. Data stored in Switzerland. Personal codes only as a hash. Each till and phone is paired one by one, and the owner can remove a device at any time. A device is locked automatically after repeated wrong codes. A bar's account can only reach its own data.
9. Your rights
You can ask us which data we hold about you and request correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data. You can also object to processing. These rights follow from the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 and, for visitors from the EU, the GDPR.
If you work at a bar that uses GogoPlaner, please contact the bar first: the bar is responsible for your data, and we support it.
You can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or to the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand (PDPC).
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
